Parent Fear

There is this inevitable fear as a parent. One that parents never want to experience for themselves.

It can come when you are least expecting it but at the time you knew it was coming.

Parents hear and talk about this “fear” all the time. Almost like it is one of their own children. In a way it is.

There are ways around the fear, but dragging a 17 month old there is not fun.

The “fear” helps us through the day. Parents and non-parents alike fear the day they realize this.

Making it through the day without one cup of coffee is that fear. When you look down into your coffee bin and see that you will not make it through the rest of the week is an even bigger fear!
