HOLY CRAP!!!! (not that kind of crap)

Dear Chipmunk,

© The Rookie Dad

You are nearly 10 months old now.  HOLY CRAP, you are nearly 10 months old now!  It seems like just yesterday you were still sleeping in our room and the only time that you would speak was when you cried.  Now things are so much different.

You’ve started “walking.” Ok, well taking steps.  You can walk from one ottoman to the other ottoman.  You’ve been getting better and better at is as time goes on.  Hot Mama and I have Labor Day as the day you really start walking.  Which is in a week, so get busy!

You are a babbler.  We can’t get you to shut up at times.  Da Da Da or La La La is all you say.  I swore I heard you say “Hi” one time but you haven’t said it since.   I’m sure the TV at times reaches volumes that it has never reached because we are trying to hear the TV over your “talking.”

Hot Mama and I have been talking and trying to figure out what you want for your birthday?  We aren’t really sure what you would like.   We have ideas but your input would really be helpful so if you find this letter in time be sure to give us a handwritten note telling us what you would like.
